Our reinvention of the perfect versatile all-rounder steamer for those colder days...built to go from surf to scuba to the skis. Designed for the feminine form, she's ultra-flexible and super snug, with double-blind stiched and glued seams and a fully covered interior zip. Now with a double-velcro closure for extra security.
This suit is 1mm of Yamamoto 39 limestone neoprene, with fully glued and blind stitched seams, custom colours sublimated onto semi-hydrophobic outer fabric and a durable velcro shoulder closure for maximum warmth, longevity and ease of wear.
**Please note that because this suit is just 1mm, the glued seams are slightly more noticeable to the touch (particularly if you have sensory sensitivities) - the glued seams keep you warmer and will soften with time.
Hand glued with water-based glue, internally and externally blind stitched with high stretch, super durable nylon thread, taped joints.
Tough shoulder Velcro keeps your suit secure in the surf and the seams are glued, blind stitched and reinforced for extra comfort and durability. The four way stretch of Yamamoto limestone neoprene and recycled jersey helps to minimise any tearing and ensures your suit will return to its original shape after use.

I absolutely love the Made For It's glass off long jane wetsuit! I wanted a 20, but they sold out while I was dithering. On advice from Laura I ordered the 18. It's perfect! The material is super-stretchy and fits me perfectly for open water swimming. I'm looking forward to adding the Air Collection long jane to my water wardrobe soon! Great products, stunning colours, excellent customer service and surprisingly quick postage to the UK. I couldn't be happier!
I love my velcro glass of long jane so much. I sized down since I already knew from my 3mm steamer that the made for it wetsuits are very stretchy. I usually wear a size 12 but the size 10 fits me very well. I also like the velcro instead of a zip.
I absolutely love the made for it Long Jane, it’s such a versatile piece that’s perfect for layering such as pairing it with the surf suit, or the glass off jacket depending on the weather and your preference. Plus it’s soooooo comfortable! So happy with it and can’t wait to see all the future collections!
I gave the 1mm Long Jane a cautious go but I haven't looked back!
So far, it's provided just enough insulation to extend my swim season well beyond summer. I've been happy to put off switching to heavier steamers for now, though I might need them soon as the Sydney winter really sets in. It's probably thin enough to offer some knee protection during summer surf sessions too, which is a nice bonus.
The fit seems to favour longer-legged girlies, and I would have loved a slightly shorter option. Still, I’m stoked with it overall and I can’t wait to add the 2mm jacket to complete the ensemble, once they arrive. The colour combo makes me happy and I look forward to putting it on.
